| MARKET REPORT FOR MAY 5, 2021 | |||||||||
| We sold 2021 head
this week. Not enough fancy cattle this week, cattle in the stocker and
feeder side were tested. Most of the sale this week was made up of 3 to 5
weight heifers and steers, mainly Brahma cross cattle. Overall called the
market $5 to $10 lower. With corn
prices and dry conditions putting pressure on buyers having to buy them
lower. Bred cows and pairs were mostly steady. Young, fancy pairs still in
