MARKET REPORT FOR
OCTOBER 7, 2020 |

We sold 2492 head
this week, 1600 stockers and feeders and 800 butcher cows and bulls. The
buyers are still looking for backgrounded calves and are giving a 10 to 15
cent premium for full processed weaned calves. Fresh weaned calves were a
little better this week and yearlings were steady. Plainers types of cattle
are sitll hard to place. Butcher cows and bulls were $3 to $5 lower.
